4/16: Blackened Salmon

After eating dinner and dessert we prepared the rest of salmon with blackened seasoning. It tasted much better than the salmon I ate the first time through. This was so much tastier and instead of setting it aside to save for lunch tomorrow I kept going back for another bite. In the end I managed to eat half of a half of a salmon! So I ate a quarter of this big fish on top of the 4 ounces of salmon I had with my dinner. Will I ever learn to just say no… to food? 

4/16: Salmon with Brussel Sprouts and Salad

My husband is Alaskan Native and his grandfather recently sent us 40 lbs. of frozen salmon. For dinner I had salmon, garlic butter brussel sprouts and a Kyoto plum dressed salad with a sprinkle of parmesan cheese. I really enjoyed this meal but my hungry beast got the best of me and told me I was not finished for a while! 

4/12: Sushi

I treated my sister to the main dishes at lunch and she treated me to sushi. We accidentally got a raw smoked salmon sushi but it actually tasted really good. The other was a soft shell crab roll and it was delicious! We shared this so I had four of the smoked salmon ones and three of the crab sushi pieces.
