My morning snack consisted of a delicious tart apple with some peanut butter yogurt dip.
This is such a great snack! Overall it’s probably cheaper to buy a big container of greek yogurt compared to individual containers. The big containers of the Fage are usually plain, so there is still an awesome texture but it has more of a sour taste to it. Adding a low sugar jam to the yogurt gives you variety. I have used raspberry, strawberry and a mango peach jam as well. It’s cheaper in the long run and just as delicious as the already flavored yogurts!
This afternoon I tried out a new jam. Costco has yummy jams with a low sugar content. They usually only sell one kind at a time and this was the first time I’ve seen the Marion Berry Blackberry. It was the perfect match for the plain FAGE yogurt. Topped with a granola bar it’s a perfect snack!
Here shines the best yogurt in the world. Top it off with a crumbled up granola bar and you’ve got yourself a quick and clean snack. The yogurt has the berries separated out which allows you to mix it in yourself. I love being able to do this, it seems so much fresher!
This is one of my favorite snack combinations, especially for work. I have always disliked yogurt because the texture is gross to me… something so boogery about it! But when I tried Greek yogurt for the first time it was love at first bite! I have eaten many different brands now and find FAGE to be the best! It’s dessert-like in taste and texture and has less calories than regular Yoplait or Tillamook yogurt. To top it off with a crunch texture I crumble part of a granola bar on top.
